Xerox WorkCentre 7830i is a photocopy machine with all the necessary features like scanning, copying, printing with duplex and fax. To use all these features through your computer you need to connect it to your local network and install its driver on your computer. Step 1: Download this file from the above given link.

Step 2: Right-click on the driver’s zip file and then click on extract to.

Step 3: It will create a folder which contains INF drivers files.

Step 4: Click on the start button and then click on Settings

Step 5: Then click on devices

Step 6: Click on printers & scanners

Step 7: Click on printer & scanner

Step 8: Click on the link “The printer that I want it not listed here”

Step 9: Choose the last option “Add a local printer” and then click on Next

Step 10: Select the preferred port USB or network port and then click on Next. The click on “Have Disk”

Step 11: Click on Browse

Step 12: Go to the location where you have extracted / unzipped the drivers file.

Step 13: Select the file “XerorxWorkCentre78xx_PXL6” and then click on open.

Step 14: Click on OK

Step 15: Select the main driver model number “Xerox WorkCentre 7830 V4 PCL6” and then click on Next

Step 16: Name the printer as you wish and then click on Next

Step 17: The 7830i driver is being installed. Please wait while it is installing.

Step 18: Select the the option “do not share the printer” and then click on Next

Step 19: Click on Finish.

Step 20: The printer “Xerox 7830i” has been installed successfully. Check out the printer’s page.
